Whiskey Ridge Outdoors was established in July of 2018.
Founders of Whiskey Ridge, Jeff and Jason Jefferson, grew up in a logging family in Naches, WA where they learned the value of hard work. From sweeping the logging shop floors after school as young kids to building fire trails in the summer, learning how to run all the different pieces of equipment and eventually running the operation sites, they both spent many years in the industry . . . until that industry was gone.
Another passion was being forged however, during those days in the logging shop as side by side with those logging trucks a different sort of equipment was being built and maintained, NASCAR stock cars. Both Jeff and Jason went on to have successful racing careers; Jeff winning three championships in NASCAR’s highest division in the Northwest and Jason winning several local track championships in Washington State. Although they don’t get behind the wheel much anymore, their days are still spent in the racing industry where they teach young kids helping to improve their race skills and work on building and preparing race cars for others.
Now that the logging days are behind them and racing has become their job, the brothers have bonded over their love of hunting. They’ve come to believe that living really happens after the hard work is done. WORK, HUNT, LIVE is their motto and one of their favorite things to do after coming off the mountain, whether the hunt was successful or not, is to have a whiskey and relive the adventures of the day.
